With engine off the alarm did not turn off when park brake released but, did stop when battery power cut and commenced again when power restored. -parking brake indicator light still won't go off -realized that if I push on the air recirculation button (next to the AC button) the parking brake warning and light goes off instantly. -also realized that I am not getting cold air with the AC on now either. Most likely it is the parking brake switch stuck or the wiring to it is damaged. If you move the switch by hand will it stop? Do you have a tool for testing electrical so we can do some tests? .
